David Vega is Head of Credit and responsible for underwriting, due diligence, portfolio management and evaluating investment risk at Callodine Credit. Prior to joining Callodine Credit, David held the same role at its predecessor firm, Gordon Brothers Finance Company. David comes to CCF with 33 years of experience in commercial banking. Prior to joining GBFC, David spent 26 years with Bank of America and its predecessor banks, most recently the Retail Finance Group where he spent 8 years structuring and underwriting asset-based loans for U.S. and Canadian-based retailers. David’s experience at Bank of America also includes originating, structuring and underwriting transactions for companies in the technology, precious metals, energy, healthcare, and environmental industries. David received a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Boston College.
