About Jon

General Counsel at Callodine Group

Jon Dinwoodey has over 20 years of experience as an attorney and advisor to asset management firms focusing on public and private investments, fund formation and regulatory matters.  Prior to Callodine, he spent over 12 years at Highfields Capital Management LP, a value-oriented investment firm which managed private funds and invested worldwide in public and private companies across a wide variety of industries and security types.  In his roles at Highfields, Jon managed investment, operations and business related legal matters, advised the firm’s senior management and portfolio team on a broad range of corporate and securities law and regulatory areas, and helped maintain and expand the firm’s counterparty and trading relationships. Prior to Highfields, Jon worked as an associate in the investment management group of K&L Gates LLP’s Boston office, advising asset managers on the formation, offering and governance of hedge funds, fund-of-funds, registered funds and structured products.  He began his career as an associate in the corporate department of Goodwin Procter LLP.  Jon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Princeton University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
